We have made it our mission to be active and enjoy the campgrounds and recreation areas around us each weekend while we were working full time the past years. We live in South Georgia so many of our locations are in a 6 hour radius. Darn those full time jobs! BUT NOW… we can start to spread our wings. So you can expect more varied locations in the future.
In order to gather the data we needed for each of our trips we had to visit many great review sites like yelp, trip advisor, state park sites, facebook sites and bloggers. (THANK YOU THANK YOU Gone with the Wynns!) Most reviews emphasize the campgound conditions, bath house, cleanliness, amenities which are all informative and good to know… BUT we want 3 things from our campgrounds 1. Ability to participate in at least 2-3 activities, like hiking, biking, water sports, etc. 2. Wifi so we can work remotely 3. Safe bike trails outside of the park like a rails to trails or dedicated multi use road.
